Reality and fantasy collide when Noah and Gabby meet. Both have secrets: they are not human, cannot be killed and are falling in love with each other.
Gabby Valis is a regular fifteen year old; her biggest worries in life are friends, boys and her annoying brother Zac. But her life is shattered the day she finds out she is not human. She had no idea she belonged to a secret species which has evolved from humans; âXaveriquesâ. After being hit by a car, her body is forced to heal itself, and Gabbyâs powers are unleashedâŚ
âI died this morning. At exactly 8.17 am my heart stopped beating and I lay cold and still in the street. At 8.24 am my heart resumed beating, I jumped up from the dusty pavement and ran home. Confused? Well, that makes two of us.â
For this blog tour, I wanted to do something a bit different that hasn’t been seen a lot on bookblogs (at least I haven’t seen any). For blog tours in general, I want to try to do something different for each and every blog tour if possible. So for this one I had the idea to do a character interview rather than an author interview to change things up a bit.
Doing a character interview also allows for readers to get a better idea of who Jessica, the main character, is as a person and in the book. I like that you can also learn some extra info that wasn’t included in the book about the main character.
So basically, I am asking Jessica Cahill (the main character from Cut by Emily Duvall) some questions about her and her life so you can get to know her better. I also included a question for the author (#12) , and the last one Emily added herself because it is one that is a question added by Emily about Jessica (#13). And if you haven’t read all of the info on Cut (summary, about the author, inclusions summary), CLICK HERE. Now, here we go. Continue reading
This blog tour features Cut by Emily Duvall, which is the sequel to Inclusions in the Flawless series. They are romance novels, yet they feature comedy and action as well as characters who are unique and different from others previously seen.
Here you will find the summary of each book as well as some background info, AND a link to A GIVEAWAYÂ just for this blog tour at the bottom of this post! Continue reading
This was my first time working with an author on a guest post, and I think it went really well. I loved the fact that C.M. Lucas did both an advice post, but also made it about her favorite characters across different medias (books, tv, movies, etc.) and what made them great characters. I loved what she had to say (and I completely agree with character #1, LOVE him) and I think that it was a great way to explain how to make interesting and entertaining character.
If you haven’t seen all of the details on her book, Mist and Whispers: The Weaver’s Riddle, CLICK HERE!!!!!!!! It’s perfect for any book worm, as the book involves books and adventure and more!
Here is C.M. Lucas’s guest post!!!
For this blog tour, I worked with the author and she wrote an amazing guest post about making great characters and how to make them real. It was a lot to put in one post, so I split them up with all of the book info here, and the guest post separately. Check out all the info, and I will leave a link to C.M. Lucas’s guest post at the bottom.
Mist &Â Whispers: The Weaver’s Riddle is perfect for any book worm because it is about books. I highly recommend reading it!
There is also an excerpt from the book (yay!!) which I will have at the end before all of the authors link and where to buy this book! Continue reading

So this blog tour features The Guide by Justin Chandler!! It’s is a book about time travel including evil villains, sacrifices, danger, and action.
Here is the summary from Amazon:
âKnow yourself.âNicholas Forsythe never knew how important those words were at his first year at Glenoak High School until he met Garron. After he is given a mentor by his parents to help guide him through his rebellious phase, Nicholas is initially skeptical of Garronâs methods. Who is he? How does he know so much about Nicholas without meeting him? As Nicholas works to find the answers to these and other questions about the guiding process, he soon uncovers a deep secret about Garron and the guides: they are from the future, working for the mysterious Determinant Industries in an attempt to fix the perils of the past. All is well with the program, but when a brooding figure from Garronâs time threatens to unravel the very events of history, itâs up to Nick and Garron to not only save their lives, but also the entire fate of the future. Through strained friendships, inner battles with identity and free will, and watching the entire world around him morph and change to the whims of an evil dictator, Nick discovers the true meaning of choice and the sacrifice involved in order to truly “know yourself.

Summary from Goodreads:
Nichole Roberts is a beautiful young woman with a bright future ahead of her. It is her eighteenth birthday, and she cannot wait to celebrate it at what will soon to be known as the party of the year. With her family and best friend by her side, everything seems perfect, that is, until that night. A romantic evening with her handsome and mysterious boyfriend turns tragic, and Nicholeâs life takes a turn for the worse. Confused about what has happened to her, Nichole wakes up to find everything that she holds dear has been taken from her in a way she never knew existed. Will she ever come to terms with what she has become? Or, will she seek revenge against the one person that has wronged her.
For this blog tour, I decided to do an author interview because:
1. I was curious about how Paige would answer my questions, and
2. I’ve never done a blog tour before so I though that doing an author interview would be fun and a great experience! And it was!
Doing this interview was great, and Paige is very kind and her answers are amazing! I love her answers to questions 7 and 8, and I totally agree with her on 8! Continue reading
