I recently got this months Owlcrate (the theme was dystopian) and I really loved it! This was my first time getting a box from Owlcrate, and I’m sooo glad I got it. I was really excited the day I got it and waited for the mailman to arrive after noticing through the UPS tracker that it was going to arrive. I was so excited, and I loved all of the bookish goodies inside. Plus taking a bunch of photos for Instagram was really fun. I highly recommend subscribing, and can’t wait for next months box, which is Steampunk themed.
In case you didn’t know, Owlcrate is a monthly subscription box that includes a hardcover book and other bookish goodies. There is always a theme, with April’s being dystopia (May is Steampunk). Along with a card with all the items and a quote from The Star Touched Queen, this month’s box included a Wicked sticker created by Shailey Ann Designs, a lovely Mockingjay magnet from Half Blood Prints, a George Orwell manuscript from Manuscript, a cute Mockingjay bracelet from The Geeky Cauldron, and lastly a beautiful coaster from Evie Bookish!!! I’m so excited that I got one of her designs (plus I needed a coaster), and I will probably buy a bunch of her mugs soon.
Lastly, the book this month was Flawed by Cecelia Ahern. A note from the author was even included in the box! Here is the description.
Celestine North lives a perfect life. She’s a model daughter and sister, she’s well-liked by her classmates and teachers, and she’s dating the impossibly charming Art Crevan.
But then Celestine encounters a situation in which she makes an instinctive decision. She breaks a rule and now faces life-changing repercussions. She could be imprisoned. She could be branded. She could be found FLAWED.

Overall, I loved this month’s box and can’t wait for next month’s and the rest to come. I can’t wait to read Flawed, and use all of my new bookish goodies. I highly recommend it and know that many other people love Owlcrate as well. Follow @owlcrate on Instagram for more pictures and updates.
Happy reading š
